- It includes a file plan manager. Rules, like e.g. compliance requirements are defined in the file plan, so that legal requirements including data protection regulations can be met
- With the fully integrated archive eanna a legal archive compliant to regulatory and laws (also data protection) is available

Functionalities
- Mosaic eDossier contains all standard document management functionalities like metadata or fulltext search, versioning, document preview with annotations, comments, (auto-) classification, merge/split, export, upload, drop zones, access rights, tagging etc.
- The dossier views are configurable (also for different roles)
- A central piece is the file plan, that contains rules, which are simply configurable
- Use the pre-defined lifecycle and status process or extend it to your needs.
- Checkout and offline mode is possible with the windows integration, in addition Office and Outlook Add-ins are available
- For documents in process use Mosaic eCase the fully in eDossier integrated case management
